Lately the words "signed limited edition" ring in my ears every time I work on the eBay Top 10 fiction list. This time,
I counted and here's what I found: half the list of 10 (in-part or in-whole) was signed limited editions. Others, such as
Lone Cowboy by Will James, were merely signed.

Author Stephenie Meyer donated a second boxed set of the Twilight Saga to benefit Project Book Babe. After 48 bids, the 7-day auction
ended at $1,575.
The French translation of The War of the Worlds, published in Belgium in 1906, included 28 plates and 101 text drawings. It received 17 bids.
Listed by a UK seller, the 1954 1st edition without a dust jacket garnered 22 bids.
Signed and stamped, the unread VF book is in a VF dust jacket. It sold as a Best Offer.

original box along with "a separate folio of 6 color plates ... [and] a CD ... with three Solomon Kane poems narrated."

Described as "Very Fine condition in a Very Fine, price-clipped dustjacket that has been professional restored," the 1970 1st edition, 1st printing
sold as a BIN.
Sold to benefit the Haven Foundation, the book is a signed new edition with illustrations by Tom Canty.
The edition was limited to 448 signed numbered copies and is in a
slipcase. In an unusual note, the seller wrote, "Bidders may only bid on one of the sets of A Feast for Crows...."
The numbered 2-volume set in a slipcase was #263 of 448 copies signed by both Martin and Charles Vess. It sold as a BIN.

The signed limited edition (#6 of 100) in a slipcase sold as a BIN. The book and slipcase were described as in fine condition; the
dustjacket has slight wear.
11 bids took this 1930 1st edition to $1,136 in a 7-day auction. Signed by Will James, the book contains a sketch signed Bill James; the sketch is attached to
the back cover.

Sold as a BIN, the 2 volume set was accompanied by "a blue hardbound limited deluxe edition original inauguration program from
1949." The seller notes that this type of program was only given to Presidential invitees and the Inaugural Committee. Both volumes of the
memoirs were signed and inscribed by Truman.
The 2007 Taschen publication includes rich, high quality color photographs of Ford's paintings. It is 1 of 1500 in the limited
edition and was described as in new condition.
Published in 1944, this 1st edition, 5th printing copy of Alcoholics Anonymous attracted 2 bids. The seller states that it is "overall in good
condition as pronounced by two different licensed San Francisco book dealers." Strangely, the seller does not accept PayPal, indicating "Cashiers
check only."
Vrooom! Vrooom! A signed limited 1st edition 1992 volume in new condition received 20 bids before selling for $888.88. It was signed
by many famous racers and is #97 of 350 published in this edition.

commissioned "to report on the expediency of setting apart the whole Adirondack region as a state forest preserve." The author, a well-known
topographic engineer experienced in the region, influenced the passage of the bill.

The 1st edition signed by the author attracted 31 bids. The "signature has been verified by Global Authentication Inc."
Listed by a French seller, the 1510 book of hours sold as a best offer.
