A quick update today. Some of you may have seen Karin Bergsagel's NewsBlog post on Tuesday referring to remarks made by Todd Lutwak, eBay's Senior Director of Selling Experience, in an interview with AuctionByte's Ina Steiner, specifically referring to a test conducted sometime in October and November of 2009 in which Store items were placed in Core - an announced change that will become permanent this Spring. After looking at my own sales during this experiment and hearing from a few other booksellers, I am, in a word, encouraged. Read more about this in the following article.

In the absence of any breaking news, I'll resume my series, Bookselling in the 21st Century, next week. If you've missed any of the previous installments in this series, you can catch up here:

Part I
Part II
Part III
Part IV

Finally, look for issue #60 of the Gold Edition soon - "VHS R.I.P.? No way!" - a detailed guide to buying and selling VHS products. There's still money to be made, guys. For special prices on BookThink premium products, here.
