Bookseller Mary Moe is BookThink's saint of the month. She recently took on the near daunting task of reading the entire archives of the BookThink forum - over 11,000 notes! - and mining it for flashpoints contributed by our members. Three solid weeks of work, it was. The resulting 3785-word document is now in my hands, and I can safely say that it's bookselling gold. Mary also reports that reading the archives was a significant learning experience - oh, and her housework has suffered mightily.

Now, what to do with it. The consensus in the forum was to distribute it free of charge to Gold Edition subscribers, and this seems like a perfectly reasonable approach to me. Look for an addendum on the May Gold Edition. We'd also like to make this available to new subscribers, so if you've been hesitating about slapping your $29.99 on the table for a GE subscription, you now have an added incentive. Subscribe here and get the Moe Report free.

How is your bookselling vocabulary coming? Expanding as we speak? If it isn't, you may be costing yourself big bucks. See why in today's feature article, "Building Your Bookselling Vocabulary: The Fast Track to Success."

Also, in case you haven't noticed, BookThink just keeps getting bigger and bigger. This is good news in one sense; in another, it's created some problems that we need to address. I'm hoping that some of you can help. See my article, "Help!" for details.
